Is this good enough for a resume?

I just have little blurbs for each EC I did. For example:

Chess Club
grades 9-12
Served as president in grades 11-12. Included organizing chess tournaments, conducting group meetings, and club advertising.

Is a bunch of little blurbs (with non-complete sentences) like this sufficient?

hullo

That is not a resume. I would not hire you for the job.

What is a resume that you would hire for? Please show an example of the formatting.

Use Google images and look for an example of a high school student resume.
Here is one: http://■■■■■■/10TfbAc

@keesh17‌

Your link is illegible :frowning: And I don’t want just any old high school student resume, I was a GOOD format.

Ok, here is an excellent example-

http://blog.howtogetin.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/Example-Resume1.jpg

Under skills you can put “Self-starter, takes initiative, critical thinker”

What’s the point of having the info on the top? They know whose app this is.

Is this for the Common App extracurricular section or for a separate Word doc resume? If it’s part of the CA, then that’s fine because they barely give us any room and you explained the bulk of it.

@lottechar Well, this one is for a text field where you write your ECs, but I may need a word doc in the future.

OP, the whole point is to make the resume look polished and professional. Adding personal information at the top greatly contributes to this, even if it isn’t necessary.

Also, however you choose to do it, make the formatting uniform so that it doesn’t appear to be thrown together.
