Is this it? No email no acceptance?

I still havent received any DHL email. I am an international student. Is this it? Does anybody know if USC is still sending out decisions? Someone who knows for sure answer please.

bump^…!!!

I don’t think anyone knows for sure, but I do know that international students received emails from DHL at all different times yesterday – and late into the night. Let’s see if more DHL emails arrive this morning. It’s not quite 9am in California so the day is early. Good luck!

We don’t know for sure this year because the mailing proceedure changed a bit this year - in years past, those DHL emails trickled out over the full month of March. We do not know yet if it was all done in one day, or if more will arrive today. Hopefully you will be posting to say another has arrived soon!

Thnx alamemom. You have been very helpful on this forum :)

superdoo1, iPixel just posted that he/she received a DHL email “an hour ago.” Crossing fingers for you!

I am an international and I still haven’t received a DHL notification e-mail

Why does the OP believe that receiving a DHL email indicates admission? Do rejected candidates not even receive mail or something?

@alamemom i just got the email! THANKS SO MUCH for ur luck  Is it possible to be a waitlist or spring admit in DHL?

CONGRATULATIONS! Great news! USC doesn’t have a waitlist, so it definitely isn’t that. As for Spring admit, my first impulse (based on past years) is to say that no, an admission at this time wouldn’t be a Spring admit - they usually come the last few days of March, but this year I don’t know! It remains to be seen if this mailing included Spring admits and/or rejections.

mickjagger - International applicants receive a DHL email saying that a 1lb package is on its way - and that has (so far  ) always meant an acceptance. Rjections are sent by regular postal mail and no email is sent first. Domestic applicants do not receive a DHL emai - their package (if any) will come via USPS Priority Mail.

@alamemom just FYI there appears to be several spring admits on the forum that got their letter today, so I would venture to say spring admits were released at the same time this year :)

Don’t worry if you haven’t gotten your DHL email. Just got it like 3-4 hours ago. (:

and also rejections…

alamemom, behind the eight ball for a moment. The sky must be falling. (Okay, I know you were busy today with your real life.) Thank God you’re back, alamemom!

Yes, I was JUST catching up with the threads and came back to update this one, thanks for the info - what a day to have to work!!! Now, back to catching up with all the news :)

Hi alamemom! Do you have any idea about how USC sends out acceptances and rejections to domestic applicants? I have received an UPS notification email, which is not USPS Priority Mail as you mentioned… I just want to make sure it is a rejection letter so I can make plan later on. Thank you so much!!

Hmmm… If I had to guess, I would say that you are in International applicant who’s permanent address is in a location to which DHL does not provide service, so they have sent your package by UPS. I it very unlikely to be a rejection letter - they send those by regular US mail. I feel fairly sure that congratulations are in order :)

Choice,
Let us know when you see the package. We hope to celebrate with you.

Thank you so much for your response and your kindness:) I am an international student attending school in the U.S. So… we shall see. I am okay with any decision right now:) Thank you!

I will:) Thank you!
