AP Chem
Genetics
AP US History
AP Statistics
Spanish 3
AP Lang
AP Physics: Mechanics

I'm a little unsure about AP Physics, do you guys recommend any other AP? Is AP Environmental Science generally easier? And what about AP Physics E&M?

chem - not too bad
US history - …no
statistics - easy
lang - challenging, but reasonably so; learn a lot!
physics mech - not bad at all (if your math skills are good)

AP Chem: curriculum isn’t bad, but it depends on how your teacher decides to prep you for the test
APUsh: lol good luck
AP Stat: Not bad at all
Lang: it depends on if you’re a good reader/writer. It truly makes all the difference in how difficult the class is for you. A big time commitment.
Physics: I think it’s pretty tough. Requires some calculus (I’m not sure what your math background is like) and E&M moreso. APES isn’t awful. I personally LOVED AP Bio but I know a lot of my classmates found it challenging (I didn’t really)

AP Chem: If you’ve taken chem before, the material isn’t terribly hard (but it’s not super-easy), but it depends on how much emphasis your teacher puts on prep for the test in May.
Genetics: Sounds interesting and I wish my school had something like this (as it’s the only area in biology I liked)
APUSH: I took it last year and I actually really liked it, but with the test changes this year I’m not sure how that’s going to impact how it’s being taught.
AP Stats: The class itself is supposedly easy, but apparently the AP test can be tricky if you don’t prep well for it.
Spanish 3: Depends on the teacher.
AP Lang: Lucky! I wish my school offered it. I hear it’s a time commitment, but if you’re a good reader/writer you should be fine.
AP Physics Mechanics: It’s calculus-based, so if you haven’t taken calc or you’re not that great at it, look elsewhere. Of the AP Physics C courses, E&M’s supposedly more calc-heavy than Mechanics.

Honestly, your schedule looks pretty good as is. Just don’t take harder classes that you’re not interested in for the sake of the GPA boost/AP credit (tempting but usually doesn’t end well in my experience). As for APES vs. AP Bio - if you go after one of these instead, choose the one that sounds more interesting to you.

I actually already am in AP Bio, so I can’t take it next year! I think I’ll just end up taking APES as opposed to an AP Physics since I’m only in pre-calc now. Thank you so much for your responses, it really helped me decide my classes for next year!!! @ThatPurpleKoala @LightweightV8 @RunningForLife
