Is this outstanding/impressive/competivite/etc ?!

I have made 2 android apps with 10000 downloads, I have won national chemistry olympiad 2 times (tho with no medals)
What do you think about that?

It doesn’t matter what we think. Your ECs are what they are. Apply and let admissions decide. Your odds are still very low, as are those of every unhooked applicant. Apply, then move on to your other applications.

@intparent Yes, I know what you think doesn’t matter (!!), but I wanted to know how do you think about that? Should I work on advertising apps and gain more downloads, or work on other things? I really don’t have anything to do except with computer. What do you recommend as ECs with computers?
Unfortunately, I didn’t have any hardship in my childhood! So I don’t have anything to write in my essay except these!

That’s impressive stuff man, and it would certainly be impressive for top tier schools! I think intparent was being a little callous tbh.

Your chances are low, as are everyone’s, but your ECs give an indication that you just might have a bomb application! Good luck! I still can’t believe I got in REA, and my accomplishments are on the same plane as yours.

@neoking Thanks!
What’s your answers to other questions? I still have 2 years left! What extracurricular activities do you recommend?

@LILDWAYNE You know I can’t answer that question. I can’t just feed you activities that I think will get you into Stanford.

I say continue what you’re doing know, and keep reaching high levels of accomplishment. The Chemistry olympiad stuff is fantastic, and keep trying to accomplishment more with that! There’s also a comp sci olympiad as well, and you seem pretty inclined to do that sort of stuff.

I would recommend you add some sort of community service to your interest in computers. Perhaps start a little get together where you tutor younger kids about programming – maybe in an underserved area. Do something beyond just yourself. It will bring meaning to your interest on a more global level and will help make your essays more personal and meaningful.
