Is this possible?

Can you do dual enrollment with a local cc, even when you're still under an umbrella school?

Plus, please list pros and cons of dual enrollment.

Thank You!

I don’t know why you couldn’t do dual-enrollment; they’re bound to be used to credits coming from all over! Ask the umbrella school how they’d handle it.

Pro[ul][]Shows you can handle college-level work[]Access to labs for science[]External grades, rather than parent-assigned grades[]Excellent classes[]Shows you can handle formal classes and schedules and don’t need everything tailored to you[]Community college is relatively inexpensive (compared to private school)[]Option for class discussions and group projects with like-minded people[]Opportunity for extra-curricular activities[li]Opportunity to get great outside academic recommendations[/ul]
[/li]

Con[ul][]Transportation[]More expensive than co-ops[/ul]

:) I might be a little biased… Obviously some of the pros are available without college classes.

I’m sorry, it’s actually a correspondence school (Christian Liberty Press).
