Is this schedule too DIFFICULT? Help!

Hi everyone! I had a tough time my first semester at UF balancing chem 1, pre-calc and anatomy and ended up with a low GPA, although I learned how to learn for the second semester I'd like to know how this schedule is for my first semester of Sophomore year. I'm used to studying everyday (3+ hrs) but I don't want it to be unbearable.

CHM2046 - Gen Chem 2
BSC2010 - Bio 1
STA2023 - Statistics
HSC3537 - Medical Terminology
FOS3042 - Intro to Food Sci

I'm mostly worried about chem, bio and stats together and then the memorization going into Med Terminology. Thanks so much, any help is appreciated!!

Also as far as my ECs, I’ll be working in a research lab 6 hours/week, I have a committee position in a club and I’ll be shadowing a Dr (3hrs/week), is it all manageable? Please help guys, I don’t want to stress out like I did last year. Should I drop Stats, how difficult is it with these other classes? If it helps I got an A in MAC2311 (and B+ in MAC1147) don’t know if it has any correlation to stats or if that even means anything. Thanks!!

It’s hard for us to determine if this is a difficult schedule for [b[you**. Most (Chem, bio) of these are into classes that you have to take (for pre-med). Did you take a good bio class in HS? Statistics? If so, you should be well prepared for these classes. If you’re concerned, you may want to try Study Edge, or some other tutoring (such as working with a study group).

Good Luck!!

Thank you! I’ve used Study Edge and plan on continuing to use it. For perspective, I had a terrible Bio class (learned nothing) and have never taken stats, should I be worried and drop stats since I really have no option of dropping the others?

Sure, do you have another class in mind to replace stats?
