<p>It's a self created topic (for the Common App.) I was thinking of basing my essay on math. Not just about the subject, but about why I like it. To summarize, I'd talk about how math requires knowledge on the rules, and you simply have to follow them while incorporating new rules and procedures, and all that. I'd talk about how my thought process works perfectly with it, and how subjects like history are more painstaking to learn.</p>
<p>I know that most questions ask for something about me. Something about my worldly views, my influences and dreams, or something remarkable I've done. This doesn't fit in the mold, but I feel that it still defines me, and I care about the topic, unlike things I've come up with for the generic questions. Do you guys think I should go on with the topic, or is it too impersonal, or what?</p>
