I have read on the Middlebury website that for non-native English speakers is required a test that demonstrates you proficiency in English. Is it OK if I submit just the SAT score and don't submit the Toefl? Should I take a certain score or above at CR in order not to submit the Toefl result? Please, help!

Applicants for whom English is not their first language are required to demonstrate their proficiency in English. Middlebury will consider either the TOEFL or the results from other standardized assessments, including the SAT I, SAT II Writing, ACT, IELTS, CPE, MELAB, and ELPT. Predicted grades in IBA1 or A2 English or in A-level English will also be considered. No minimum "cut-off" scores are used.

The average TOEFL scores for an entering class are 274, computer based, and 631, paper based.

What arcadia said. Except if you've been living over here in the United States for ages and you probably know English better by now anyway. That was the case with me: English definitely wasn't my first language, but since I'd been speaking it since I was six, SATs were fine.
