Is transferring to Penn worth it?

When I applied to schools last year, Penn was my dream, but I didn’t get in, so I’m currently a freshman at the University of Michigan. I am applying to the Ross Business School, in which case my career would likely follow the regular path of high finance (Banking, MBA, PE, etc.). I also have an interest in law school, and then going into BigLaw, but I don’t think that a BBA from Ross will make this as legitimate of an option.

I applied to Penn CAS as an Econ major, but am also interested in PPE. Do you guys think that transferring to Penn would be wise if I DON’T get into Ross? What if I do get into Ross? What factors would you include in your decision?

A degree from University of Michigan is highly regarded. Even if you don’t get into Ross can’t you take courses at Ross?

Your hypothetical question doesn’t really have a useful answer. Very few transfers are accepted at Penn/Wharton.

Bump for more opinions. @fogcity I appreciate your input. Penn is one of the more transfer friendly Ivies, to my understanding - CAS at least.
