<p>There are other factors than being "need blind" in admissions. A previous poster said Carnegie-Mellon is need blind. They may be, but tuition, room & board & all fees will total $ 51,000 next year. Also, they expect finaid students to have an aid gap - they do not meet 100 % of financial need. Even with the need blind schools, you can get into an accept/reject situations, where the school knows they are not providing enough FinAid to make it possible.</p>
