Is what you're doing/plan on doing REALLY what you want to do?

I really want to be a theatre or musical theatre major deep down. I love acting, singing & costume design and I’ve done it all throughout high school (and I plan to do it in college as well as I start this fall). I’m not trying to seem big headed or something but I know that performing is something I’m good at and it’s also something I love.

However, that doesn’t exactly lead to a job or money of any kind.

Luckily, it’s not the only thing I’m good at. I’m starting school as a Communications & Journalism major and I’m thinking of pre-law as well. I think I’d enjoy and be successful in a career as a lawyer or a journalist.

Well I want to be President, but I’m not sure how engineering is going to get me there haha.

I’ve always wanted to be a model. I was pursuing my modeling dreams in middle school, but put them aside in high school so i could focus on getting into a top college. I always regret letting that dream slip away.

I’ve also always wanted to be pre-med, so I could help find a cure to cancer or help fight alzheimer’s disease. But all of my pre-med friends are always sooo stressed out so I don’t know if I could handle it. I also hope I get a chance to become an author.

Right now I’m double majoring in business and communications. I’m very passionate about both, hopefully all turns out well.

I wanted to pitch for the New York Yankees or be a writer… I’ll settle for a finance job

I would like to be a Revolutionary.

I’d REALLY love to be a ridiculously successful fiction novelist while fronting an alternative rock band.

But so far as realistic careers go, I think I’m finally on the right path. Thinking back to how much I was inspired by my high school guidance counselor, and considering that I have a persistent fascination with people and the college admissions process (which keeps me on this forum long after it has ceased to be personally relevant), it makes sense to me. I also found that I kick butt as a psych major. :D
