Is withholding SAT II scores dishonest?

I have taken 3 SAT II and received the scores [percentiles]: US History: 590 [26%]; Literature: 570 [28%]; and Math 2: 630 [26%]. Harvard says that SAT IIs are highly recommended but optional. Since the scores appear on the back of my transcript, should I go ahead and send the scores to the university, or should I try to keep these low scores hidden?

Although Harvard allows for Score Choice when reporting SAT II’s, if your SAT II test scores are reported on your transcript, Admissions WILL see them anyway. So, for you – it’s impossible to hide your SAT II test scores! As such, you should officially report all your SAT II scores to Harvard.

As @gibby said, they are on your transcript, so unless you can convince your HS to remove them, you really can’t hide them.

That said, if a school allows score choice, like Harvard, it is not dishonest to not report scores. For a school that requires all scores, however, it would not be in your best interest to not report them.

You need to read. Harvard allows score choice. So you are free to withhold scores.
