<p>I read on another Vanderbilt post that someone quoted someone from the school saying a borderline applicant would likely be admitted in the ED pool, having a slight advantage versus being admitted in the RD pool....isnt' that normally the opposite? We have always heard that its the ED pool that typically is so strong and competitive, any thoughts?</p>
<p>my college counselor said ED is def the way to go for people like me who are borderline and who are basically in love with the school it shows how badly you want it, also i know at my school a lot of the higher end kids (academically) are applying to Vandy Regulard Decision because they don't want to commit to the school they still like it a lot but are looking at other very good schools</p>
