What it the difference between information techonolgy major vs information systems? Which is better for jobs and salary?

I think for a bachelor’s degree which is better in job prospects is what I mean
Same response. IT and IS degrees are not consistent across universities, so we’d have to see what kind of classes make up the programs you’re interested in.
You really have to go down to check the courses in Catalog to have a better idea. I started as a programmer now retired. And in our company which is a multinational bank, IS means application/programming and IT means technical hardware, data center or security side. As far as job perspective, both can be great up to individual appetite … Good luck!
