It must be a sign..

LOL. I leave for Washington DC this Saturday, to go attend that Presidential Classroom Inaugural program.

It's being held at the GU Conference Center. Is it a sign from God? Probably not.

Also, February 24th, the World Affairs Council is hosting the Honorable Anthony Lake.

No big deal, right?

Former National Security Advisor..

And Professor at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service..

I am definitely going to that LAWAC event..

I'm crossing my fingers and knocking on wood for you.

you can't do both, it cancels out!

I miss PC...did anyone apply for that PC Honors Graduate thing?

your gonna be in DC next week, Tlaktan? so am i! for close-up! i leave this saturday

Have fun, you guys!

I think it is a sign, Tlak. ;) Maybe you should go to the admissions office and hand-deliver your letter! That would be cool... :)

yeah, that would be great. you should be like "I came all the way from california because I wanted to personally see to it that you got my letter, and that you know the lengths I will travel to attend Georgetown.......literally"

seriously, you should. that would make u stand out a bit at least, hehe

do it! That's like something from a movie...

lol. while we're on the subject of catching the admit officers' eyes...

"dear admissions officers, enclosed is a copy of the speeding ticket i recieved, courtesy of the district's hidden cameras along macarthur blvd, while on my way to visit georgetown this summer. as you can obviously tell, i was obviously very very eager and excited to get to georgetown with as little delay as possible, even if it would cost me $75 dollars extra in the long run!"

i really did get that ticket (grr!), and i was so tempted to put something like this on my app!

haha...the price we pay....
