This is going to be like the longest night ever (our mail comes around noon).

ya night? talk about weekend. that's how long i have to wait.
monday 9am-5pm. anytime. i'm going to die. this is ridiculous. they should have sent the intl ones already. that would be fair. but noooo.
omg im dying.

Well many of us probably won't get them until Monday (though there's some chance for tomorrow), so I'd say it is pretty fair for internationals to get them Monday, though they should give you an exact time. No matter what, this is going to be the longest weekend ever.

i know...good god. like seriously i'm saving all my homework for sunday night so i can have something to concentrate on instead of like throwing up or just generally freaking out.

I know the feeling...I'm trying to decide what to do tonight. Do I finish my last RD supplements? Do I work on homework? Do I obsess and freak myself out? There's a very good chance that I won't find out until Monday, so I don't want to use up all of my distractions tonight!

I got in!!!!!!!!

Congrats!

Ugh...you guys getting in is making me even more nervous!

Congratulations you all!

My hands are all clammy just thinking about it.
Maybe tomorrow for me? I live in the midwest.
EEK.

I think I'm going to get deferred...someone has to.

(wrong thread) ignore this post.

congrats!

I heard they do the acceptances by priority mail, so does that mean if you don't hear today or tommorow you are either deferred or rejected?

To make things worse, I'm taking the ACTs tommorow.
How in the world am I going to focus?! lol

I am not expecting a fat letter, but I am just staying (very) hopeful.

Good luck with that ACTs, rose!

I wouldn't base acceptance vs. rejection on how long the letter takes to come, there are a million reasons a letter could take a little extra time to arrive.

ohh okay
also, I heard some people got a notification of acceptance in e-mail?

Only internationals.

are notifications (for domestic applicants) via email or via the Wellesley.edu./admission/appstatus.html ?

How are you finding out???

fhg, don't worry, I will probably be the one being deferred lol :)

And I'm from the midwest here too, so let's hope it comes tomorrow so I can spare myself some sanity. Unless, however, I DO get deferred and have to wait another four months.

oh i really wish i found out today! i'm going to take the ACTs one more time tomorrow morning, and i'll know by the time I get back whether i'm accepted...but I wish I knew now so I know if I have to take the ACTs again, so frustrating! congrats to you who got accepted and good luck to everyone else!! :)

yeah only international students get it by email! gosh and i thought I'd have to wait 3 more days!!

so what's the consensus...if we didn't find out today we didn't get in?? i live reasonably near new york..
