We can’t really tell you anything without knowing you and whether or not you’d fit in at MIT. Apply, do your best. It’s a toss-up for anyone. I would retake the SATs, focusing on improving your math scores. Make sure your scores are within the middle 50% score ranges listed here: [Admissions Statistics | MIT Admissions](Admissions statistics | MIT Admissions)

Try to spend your senior year taking your interests to a new level, maybe through volunteering or classes at a local college or research of some sort, and make sure that admissions knows what you’re up to. Good luck. :)

Well, the real problem is that I am a senior and that the QB application is due in like…three weeks, lol. I know my ECs are limited, but my district doesn’t offer many. I’m taking the ACT tomorrow, but that may not be of much help considering the fact that I need a report to send in.

As a QuestBridge applicant you potentially have several rounds, don’t you? (QB, then Early, then Regular.) You can continue improving your application so that you have something new if you get deferred. It’s not too late. As for ECs and your district, I’m sure admissions will take that into account. Good luck on the ACT. (Don’t stress! Get off of CC! )
