IU vs Purdue vs Northeastern - Help me decide!

Hello everyone, I’m having a difficult time choosing between these schools and I would like advice in choosing.

Costs: I have full rides at Purdue and IU. Northeastern would cost me about $5k a year.
Major: I got into chemistry at IU and NEU. I got into FYE at Purdue. I know Purdue is really good in engineering, but I don’t know if I want to pursue engineering as I’m not exactly sure what it entails.

Also, I got into the Honors programs at IU and Northeastern.

Currently I am leaning towards NEU, but I’d like to hear your options. Thank you!

What majors are you thinking of besides engineering/chemistry? Any interest in medicine?

@PengsPhils I’m also thinking of doing math, but would also like to explore doing CS. I’m interested in double majoring with Spanish, but not a high priority of mine. Not really interested in medicine.

I like your choice. And more importantly is that you do! NEU will be a great experience.

Not to say the other two aren’t as equally compelling. If you liked either better, I would say great choice as well.

I agree with the sentiment of @privatebanker that fit is important here

As a note, you may be interested in the Explore Program at Northeastern. It’s basically “undeclared” where you can try out many different majors without committing (say a CS course, a Spanish course, a math course, and a chemistry course). You should be able to switch to it before you enroll on your myNortheastern portal (can make a login before committing) through the major change request form.
