My app got delayed in getting there from mid November to late December so I've been waitlisted. I am planning to have an alumni letter of recommendation sent out and my 3rd quarter grades as well (they're actually really good lol.) But I was wondering what else could I do to get myself accepted?

Do you live nearby? Visiting them and talking to someone to assure them that they are your #1 may help---someone else on this forum says his neighbor got accepted that way.

Out of curiosity, what's it look like when you log into BU brain and go to finaid status and select your award year?

Alumni isn't so effective unless the alumni is donating a building; how about an employer rec or another academic rec?

When did you find out and how? It is very important to make it clear Binghamton is your number one choice. Call your regional adcom. Say its your number one choice and then do a follow up call every couple weeks to see if "your status" has changed. Good luck.

Tell the Admissions Office that if they accept you your parents plan to set up a Charitable Gift Annuity for the next 10 years. If they laugh at you just tell them to shove it! Outside of being an extremely cheap school compared to others I wouldn't lose any sleep if you don't get accepted. The SUNY system will now be lacking funds and FUN.
