I've Got 10 Days...

I've got ten days; what are the best strategies to prepare for the SAT in that amount of time?

I have taken the SAT before, but I just bought a book of practice tests (10 of them) and would like some advice on a preparation schedule.

You plan to do 10 books in 10 days?

^Not ten books!

While it would be optimum to do a test each day, I don't have time in my schedule for that. That's why I'm asking for advice on how to get the most out of mini study sessions. (Math is my weakest subject btw).

Just study the math basics and take some practice sections. Study grammar basics and take some practice sections. For CR you don't really have a prayer starting this late. Just take some practice sections and see what you do wrong and fix it.

It's not too late to study.

Are you a sr?

^Yes.
10char

Only thing you can do for CR is to practice vocabs, the more you read those passages the better you get. Just read more in general.

See where you can make the fastest gains.

Maybe you ought to concentrate on one subject and try to up that as much as possible? It would be better to get one section up by 100 points than 3 sections 20 pts ea.

Are your current SAT scores competitive for the schools you are applying to? Ever take the ACT?

I agree with reviewing the math formulas. Write down all the math formulas that are hard to remember, but is crucial, on an index card and look at it 2 times daily.
Review the grammatical idioms and rules that are commonly tested. Restock and prepare some historical and literary examples for your essay.

Review possible test-taking techniques- like for the math with the grid-in section, DO all easy and medium questions FIRST, and then move on to grid-ins and do the easy and mediums. AND THEN go back to the hard ones.
-Remember to always read the math question, CAREFULLY.

Possible CR techniques
-come up with own words for sent. comp.
-cover up answer choices

-Read blurb
-Skim passage and go straight to questions- skip general, and go straight for the straight-forward ones that ask about "In lines 34-39, blah blah blah"

-Writing
-It is convenient for some to go straight for the essay correction passage. and then do the spot the errors/fix sentence.
