<p>Hello, my school does not rank so I am forced to use my GPA to calculate my AI. My schools grading policy for unweighted grades is A=4, B = 3, etc. , and the grading policy for weighted is A= 5, B = 4, etc. I have a 3.94 unweighted 4.74 weighted GPA. Which option do I use to calculate my AI "4.30 and above" or "3.90-3.99"? Also, do they use the GPA provided in the guidance conselour recommendation to make this calculation?</p>
<p>AI doesn't matter a lot, just take a guess at your rank, the Ivies do.</p>
<p>The ivies get your rank and GPA from your school. Odds are they'll calculate it on a 4.0 level, meaning that an A=4. So your GPA is actually really skewed right now, a 3.9uw sounds ok, but in practice your 3.9 is actually kind of eh on your school's system.</p>
