Ivy League and being homeschooled

Hello, everyone. My name is Tori, and I've been homeschooled for almost 13 years. I have a concern about teacher recommendations. My books are teachers within the curriculum for each subject. When you go to school, your teacher gives your lesson, homework etc, same thing for me, but my teacher is in a book. How do I figure out this problem? I'm in the 11th grade and I plan on taking 3 or more AP classes online next year, there I will have a 'real' virtual teacher.

Tori, look at the adults around you who have known you in various settings; a tutor, a music teacher, an employer? Perhaps you’ve done some volunteering in the community. Is there an adult associated with that who could write you a recommendation? Have you ever taken a class at the community college? This might be a good time to do something like that, first for the experience, but you might also make some connections with teachers there. Colleges give homeschoolers some leeway in who writes their recommendations, so think creatively about who might be able to do that for you!
