The ACT english and reading is far easier than SAT because it’s straightforward. But if you don’t have a fast pace, don’t take it. You have a really good chance of scoring higher than a 34, IMO, which is probably what @pupscotch meant.
(assuming you would score 33+ in these sections, which is better than the 710CR you have, I guess?)
@fishgill I suck at timing to be honest and I was used to the wording of the old SAT questions in that I could think through them and have time to answer them. I tried a practice ACT and all the answers seemed ambiguous and like those typical “ambivalent” answer choices you find on the CR SAT that you could easily eliminate. And I’d have to study all over for ACT so I don’t think it’s worth it
Amazing you would probably get in. Although, Harvard and Yale are reaches for everyone. I still think you can do it. Chance me?
