How hard is it to actually get into an Ivy League? Please talk about your application experience and if you we accepted or denied. Thanks
Judging from the <10% acceptance rate for most Ivy Leagues, I’d say very difficult to get into. I’m applying to some during Regular Decision.
If you look into the individual forums for each college, there are ‘Results’ threads each year in which students post accept/defer/deny and their stats and much more, like EC and awards where they live, ethnicity etc. . The accept rates are very very low, the lowest in the country pretty much excepting peer colleges like MIT, Stanford and a few others. The ED applicants are already posting results for this cycle.
80% of the topics on this site revolve around your broad question. Spend some time trawling. But you should first read the college sites and see what THEY say.
