I agree. Mike and Erica are two very honest authors. I’ve learned a great amount from Erica’s Grammar Guide, and Mike’s PWN The SAT book is superb. I can’t imagine either of them promoting their own book. Also, as the others have stated, they both maintain (very helpful) blogs. Mike also gives away a lot of his books, so that is why many reviews are not Amazon verified purchases. Anyways, I’m very thankful to have these two amazing authors aid me in my SAT prep journey!

I just learned about the guy today at lunch. Supposedly, he’s opening up an Academy in our building and my current coworkers (a class counselor and SAT teacher who are Kkorean) say he’s one of the best from Korea. So, according to them, he can be affirmed as one of the best. He ranks up there. Supposedly his specialty is Reading. In terms of Writing in Korea, it’s a guy by the name of Jefferey Son.

Obviously, we can look to many sources beyond here for validation.

^^I’m not sure if you’re affiliated with this character or not, but opening a two year old thread to promote a discredited tutor, is not a way to build respect for yourself around here. And by the way, by discredited I mean being caught promoting yourself in an underhanded manner.

hkkid2014:
JS has been involved in virtually every cheating scandal in Korean test prep history. That said, he was indeed very popular a few years ago, but doesn’t dominate anymore. JH was successful here for a while but hasn’t been in the market in any meaningful scale the last 4-5 years and the market has moved and changed (advanced, honestly) quite a bit since then.

I’m with CHD2013.
