Jan Vs. March SAT

Did anyone take both and want to compare them for me?
I took January and was going to take March, but bailed at the last minute to reschedule for May...
I'm wondering if this was a good choice, and while I know it wouldn't have made much of a difference anyway, you always wonder...
thanks!

I heard the math was easier with a harsher curve.

January
CR- 700
M- 690
W- 750
1390/1600 and 2140/2400

March
CR- 780
M- 800
W- 760
1580/1600 and 2340/2400

Math was a lot easier on the March test, but there was a lot of room for careless errors. I thought the CR passages on the March test were a lot more difficult and some of the questions were obscure, but somehow I gained 80 points... that was a pleasant surprise. Writing was fairly easy, but I scored lower on the essay. Overall, I was a lot more confident walking out of the testing room after the March SAT... Good luck on the May test! =]

By the way, -1 on Math for March was a 770.

I thought that the march math section was really easy and im not very good at math at all. Also, I thought that the CR was pretty difficult, but thats sometimes just a crapshoot of whether or not you know the words or understand the passages completely. I thought writing grammer was kind of hard, but not too bad.

I didn't take the january one though. Just my opinion on the march one.

Jan:
M-790
CR-670
W-660

= 2120/1460

March:
M-800
CR-660
W-760

=2220/1460

2230 superscored

the math curve was so harsh on march ... we think -2=740

Yeah, I've heard that March was unusually harsh in terms of the curve. However, I also heard that the March writing curve was a lot more generous--the essay was OUT THERE.

didnt take jan. sat but did take the oct. and march ones.

oct:
M-700
R-690
W-800

march:
M-770
R-780
W-800

the math curve was definately harsh because it was so easy. I shouldve gotten an 800 but made a silly mistake on one of the problems. So yea i got one wrong and that brought me down 30 points.

January 2210
March 2100

Most definitely was a difference. Then again, there was a problem with the desk March.
