Well, do you know what’s a 2 wrong and 12 omits on the Math?

Just curious.

Well, do you know what’s a 2 wrong and 12 omits on the Math?

Just curious.

Assuming a “Medium” curve, 2 wrong and 12 omits would yield a 630 M.

Was the answer to the yearly months questions x rate on the written-response like 325 or something?

I think I misplaced the 0 or something.

@amiright: No, the answer was didactic.

“the answer i put was something that had to do with the commercial aspect of the book”

I thought the “serious writers” didn’t care about the commercial aspects of the book because they were writing without the reader in mind?

For some reason, I think the answer to the “serious writers” question had to do with keeping the integrity of the book…but maybe I’m just totally making that up haha.

Anyone else like to input on this question?

I don’t recall seeing that question. It might have been experimental. Also, if you have questions on the Math section, please post in the Math thread ;)

to invisiblemonster:

i’m really not sure actually. CR is my weakest point on the sat. however, there was something about commercial aspects in that same paragraph with the serious writers…

hihellothere,
I’m pretty sure that the “serious writers” disregarded the commercial aspects.

“Traveling by river vs land is different because river is unambiguous”

Was the answer choice “unambiguous?” I thought I read ambiguous, so I chose road was straight instead. lol.

@Neytiri (great name haha), i think that brrezy, somber, and didactic were part of different readings. breezy had to do with the Plate Tectonics reading, which im guessing now was an experimental section since its not part of the consolidated list. but can anyone answer my previous question about the question where Passage 2 guy says humor increases workplace productiviity?

when do we get the scores for the jan SAT?

dwong11:

february 11th i believe

silverturtle,

do you remember this question?
"i remember another question regarding the long double passages (the writer one):
something like, “in the 2nd passage, the “serious writers (line x)” are most concerned with…”

If we can add that one to the list, we are only missing 4. :)

What was the question AND answer choices for the answer “Thought process distinctive to researchers”… was there any other possible choices?

“i think that brrezy, somber, and didactic were part of different readings. breezy had to do with the Plate Tectonics reading, which im guessing now was an experimental section since its not part of the consolidated list.”

I second this - I’m almost positive the question with breezy and somber was not the same as the one with didactic. I think they were each the last question in two different sections. I remember because I put breezy for a stupid reason and then erased it and omitted that question, but I put didactic for an equally stupid reason and ended up leaving it.

InvisibleMonster,

Yes, I remember the question. Unfortunately, I do not remember the answer.

Does “retain artistic integrity” sound familiar? :/

Yes, it does.

As other CCers have stated I think the scientists were baffled because their observations didnt match their myths. In the context of the passage why would predicting the paths matter at all, the passage focused on the difference between the observations that allowed the science to evolve.

Also, for the funny one, i put they were skeptic because he was unbelieving of the effects that being funny in the office can create.
