January SAT Makeup (February 16th) Discussion

I also got about 4 no errors per section. There seemed to be kind of a pattern. Usually something around #14-16 was no error an then around two errors were in the #25-29 section. Then usually another in there somewhere.

The part that counts for the SAT is the essay, 2 MC writing sections, 3 math sections, and 3 CR sections. If you had three multiple choice sections for writing, that was your experimental.

I can confirm the type, fashion and UN choices. For the partisan one I selected something that started with “f”. Tendentious means “having or marked by a strong tendency especially a controversial one” I dont know if that’s the best choice though…

I dont think I had many no errors especially on the sentence correction

Killed the math!
35 kids
26 pencils
For the third side of the triangle, 2<x<8 or something- I only remember the first number.
It was the UN thing.
Anyone remember the question about what the Latino public speaker said about schools and racial education? Some societal factors and stuff? It’s the only non vocabulary related question that was questionable for me.
Also, there were two questions involving “I” versus “me.” I got “me” for both of them- thoughts?

Final question- isn’t this thread illegal? We signed something to that effect I believe.

@DukeHopeful2014 you might have gotten the reading experimental section because I had the writing experimental and it did not have the Latino speaker. I also selected “me”. What was the triangle question?

I triangle question was 2<x<8.

I think I got the question wrong. Was it the one that gave you sides with 5 and 3 and wanted you to find the third side?

Yeah it was that one, 2 and 8 would have made it a straight line, so by picking 2<x<8, you’re basically saying anything between 2.000001 and 7.999999 could work.

@Resa It was a vocabulary question, not an entire passage. It was one question.
What did you guys get for the question about the buildup or release of chemicals in lake Wakai? Another vocabulary question- the bane of my existence, not having done any actual studying.

@DukeHopeful do you remember what some of the answer choices were? I only remember I had that question…
