japanese, chinese, french

Huzz. I'm an entering freshman and I couldn't choose between jap, chin, and french to take at P'ton. I took 4 years of french in high school, and if I decided to take french, then I would have to take the placement test. Japanese and Chinese are totally new languages to me, even though i'm a native korean speaker.

sooo. i'm just wondering if anyone had any advice/comments for me;; which language program is popular at princeton? from lurking around CC seems like people like chinese cause of the PIB but there's also the PII and i think there's one for europe too.. i mean, i want to learn a new asian language but I already did 4 years of french so i wouldnt mind really getting myself fluent either :)

(btw, I hear people say chinese is a hard class... hows the french class? and are there really native speakers who sneak into the beginning classes and ruin the curve?)

thanks!
