I was delighted to read today that Jeff Schiffman has been officially named Director of Admission at Tulane. Jeff had been serving in that position as the interim director since Faye Tydlaska left last fall.

I don’t know any other admission office head honcho who seems as genuinely enthusiastic about his or her institution as Jeff does about Tulane. (Well, okay, there may be some others out there, but I just haven’t met them yet. 
)
