Is there any diversity at Georgetown, or are the kids pretty much all Catholic? This is the only college I'm looking at with any religious affiliations, so I'm a little confused.

I think I remember from the tour that it is about 50% Catholic.

Georgetown was founded in 1789 specifically as a college open to people of all religious backgrounds, unlike the protestant colleges at the time which were only open to protestant students. So having a pluralistic and diverse student body has always been part of Georgetown's mission.

So yes only about 50% of the student body is Catholic today. Georgetown was the first Western university to employ a Muslim Imam on campus, has protestant, catholic, muslim and jewish campus ministry offices and produces more rabbis than Brandeis.
