JHU Advanced Academic Programs (AAP) = JHU Lite?

I'm interested in one of their part-time master programs but wasn't sure if it's considered a true JHU degree program. Is it the same deal as a degree from Harvard Extension School? I'm trying to stay away from a degree from 'school of continuing studies' type as I'm planning on going to business school afterward and top programs generally don't seem to take degrees from this type of school seriously. I'd appreciate any input regarding the AAP.

my experience as an online Bioinformatics AAP student has been a mixed bag. some of my classes have been absolutely pitiful and boring. i had to take biostatistics my first semester (i had taken it in undergrad but had been very sick at the time), and everything was such a joke. the professor rarely responded to my questions and the open-book tests were such a joke that i couldn’t believe i spent more than 5 minutes in preparation. somehow, the prof still had to curve the class, but is it that my fellow classmates were all english majors or that the prof was next-level incompetent? in other classes i found the assignments too light still, but it may be because other students do not have as strong a background as i do. in other classes, i found the assignments pretty tough and time consuming, but not quite as hard as those i had as a Hopkins undergrad. at the end of the day, i wish i’d seen this thread before i’d applied. i might have opted for gre’s or something else instead.
