JHU (BME) vs Duke vs UPenn

I was admitted to JHU as a BME, to the Pratt Engineering School at Duke intending to major in biomedical engineering, and to SEAS at UPenn as a Bioengineering major. I have received no financial aid.

I also got into Cal/UCLA/UCSD for bioengineering. I live in CA and the UC's would be cheaper/convenient but I'd rather go to a private school.

I don't intend to become a doctor...more like researching or working at a tech company later.

Any advice to offer?

If money is not a problem then I would recommend JHU or Duke over UC’s or Penn (unless of course you want to tie BME into business then UPenn should be the front runner). If money is a concern pick one of the UC schools.

I heard lots of people drop of of JHU BME program because it is so cut-throat and time consuming
Also JHU BME has more than probably 3/4 of the students go to med school. People go to JHU BME as pre medical experience

Of course, the dropping out is totally personal and might be bias
