I want to pursue a career as an actuary or financial analyst… I’ve been accepted into NYU Stern and JHU BME. My mom wants me to go to JHU and try to change majors to stats/ECON (I applied for BME because at first I thought I wanted to but realized I wouldn’t survive that hard of a major). I think that NYU is better for job placements on Wall Street. So my question is, would getting a stats/ECON double major from JHU be viewed as better for jobs than a stats/finance double major from NYU. Thank you in advance!
