My daughter was waitlisted at VT which was her first choice so we understand your frustration. She’s lucky they are letting her know so early - VT said July 1st is the earliest they’d notify my daughter.
Are these RD decisions or EA deferrals?
My mistake…they will let her know at the earliest by mid June and as late as august 
. We are In-state!

RD decisions. I’m sure they are releasing EA deferrals as well.
My son and niece were both accepted off the waitlist in 2019 and heard in May. Good luck to your daughter

July 1st is actually the latest VT will notify your daughter, I know because I was waitlisted as well. Most waitlist decisions come out around late April and early May.

Well thank you for that info. She said their waitlist letter didn’t give her much hope of getting into VT. She said it suggested going to CC and transferring. I did that when I was in college. It has its pros and cons.
