I got an email from James Madison with a link to JMYou, which seems to be like a social website for students ADMITTED to the university. Now, on JMU’s admissions page, they said they will not post anything until mid-January. Does anybody know if every student who applied to JMU gets access to this website, or if it is just for admitted students? Thank you.
@m19shep When did you receive that email? I’ve not heard of that site at all before. Sounds promising!!
@m19shep My daughter applied to JMU as well and she got a link to mymadison page and was requested to set up her account where they will post her decision. I have heard from admissions that acceptance/denials will be posted mid January. Hope this helps. In the past it looks to have been around the week of January 15th.
You sure it wasnt Mymadison?
Yes, I got links to both MyMadison and to JMYou. Completely different websites.
My daughter applied early and got the JMYou link a couple of weeks ago also.
I think the JMYou link is for you to plan a visit, mark interests etc. If I am not mistaken, we signed up last fall before he ever applied.
