<p>I've searched and searched but can't seem to find any senior survey or other gauge as to where SBU graduates go after their time is up. Should I be concerned that there don't appear to be any job placement statistics?</p>
<p>Yes. After I was accepted for the Spring 2012 semester and paid my deposit, I logged into the portal that shows internship opportunities for stony brook students. Honestly, with the exception of Morgan Stanley and Bank of America recruiting for IT students, I wasn’t impressed with the recruiters or opportunities available to other students. Opportunities for business students seemed non-existent. All I’m saying is you will probably have to be more aggressive networking and in your overall job search if you graduate from there. I could be wrong but that’s the impression I got. SB seems to be more into research and not internships.</p>
