Job prospects for a political science major/Korean minor?

I'm currently a PS major and Korean minor (essentially learn to an adv. level of the language) and am worried about job prospects after college. I know law/graduate school is a common pathway for political science majors. However, I also hear the law job market isn't very good now and not majoring in a math intensive subject or at least a subject with some math puts one at a serious disadvantage. Therefore, I'm considering the following:

adding an accounting minor. I could complete 2 minors in 4 years but it will be difficult. Also, I will NOT be eligible for the CPA exam with the accounting minor. I will probably go to some graduate/law school after anyways but I wonder if an accounting minor may help me get work if I decide to take a break after college.

going to political science graduate school. I hear PS grad. school is a lot more real-world practical and not nearly as theoretical (i.e. instead of hours reading Hobbes you spend hours on Stata/R, which are stat programs)

Going to law school. I have a good GPA but I don't know about the LSAT

Of these 3 what do you think would be the best?

What do you WANT to do?

If you speak proficient/fluent Korean, that would be a huge boost to your job applications (obviously depending on what field).

I don’t see much benefit to adding an accounting minor.

It doesn’t sound like you’re all that interested in accounting, so I would really scratch that one. Polisci PhD programs can be very theoretical or very research based. It all depends on what you want to do… some dissertations require extensive survey research, while others require extensive data analysis. Still others require critical analysis of ideas. But a PhD in political science requires serious dedication, so I wouldn’t do it as “something to do”

Law school is an option, but you need to really want to do it before just diving in, or else you will come out with $150,000 in debt and no job to show for it.

Political science majors can easily enter into many industries. Marketing, advertising, consulting, investment banking, research, teaching… all are viable paths for graduates who do not want further education right away.

What year are you in?
