Job Searching During A Pandemic

Post-graduation job searches during COVID-19 can be a challenge. https://insights.collegeconfidential.com/job-hunting-coronavirus

For job hunters without experience, it may be tough for the next year. Consider volunteering in order to build one’s resume.

There are certain skills which are being sought by employers even in this uncertain market. These skills can often be documented by earning a certificate from a university’s continuing education division.

Often the most sought after skills are developed into certificate programs and offered by universities’ “professional and continuing education office / school”. Just by examining the varied offerings–whether in paralegal studies, health care, business/accounting or in computer skills, etc.–recent graduates can understand what employers are seeking.

The key is to remain active both in one’s job hunt & in one’s continuing development of knowledge & in-demand skills.

Great post on how to search for a job during a pandemic. Recently I also took an initiative and come up with a post on COVID-19 tips for students during lockdown (https://www.careercorn.com/coronavirus-tips-for-students-during-lockdown) which can help them to learn new skills and come close to family during the lockdown.
