Job Shadowing as an extracurricular

So I have had the unique opportunity of getting to job shadow at various large companies throughout my high school career. I have been at about 7 different companies and gotten to tour their offices and shadow some professionals. This experience is what got me really interested in pursuing a business major.

I think it is a pretty unique experience and I am wondering if I could add it as an extracurricular activity. If I can, should I split it up by company or should I put them all together.

I was able to do this as part of the Girl Scout Leadership institute, but I definitely want to separate this from Girl Scouts on my application because when I put down Girl Scouts I want to talk about my gold award and such. The GSLI is very different from what I do in my troop but they do fall under the same organization. Should I even mention that I was able to do these through the GSLI program?

It’s no particular tip to shadow. Actually doing some work for them could be. If you list GSLI, the value might be in being accepted to this program. I think I’d reconsider calling it shadowing. You learned something, right?
