Jobs with a BS in Biochemistry

Hello All,
I am majoring in Biochemistry at UC Davis. Most people take Biochemistry to get into medical school. I want to do that too. However, I'm worried that what will happen to me when I can't get accepted into medical school. What jobs can I do with a BS degree in Biochemistry? I'm living in San Francisco Bay Area so anywhere in this area that I can apply?

THanks so much !!!

I do know a lot of biotech companies will higher Biochem majors. As to what you would be doing specifically is beyond me

Chemistry/Biology/Biochemistry and most related sciences have very poor job and career prospects by themselves. Most poeple go on to healthcare professional schools or graduate school in an unrealted area.

The kind of jobs you can expect with a BS Biochem are extremely low paying dead end lab jobs. Most companies now staff their labs via temp agencies so you get ripped off by them and get no benefits and can be let go at any time with one phone call.
