Johns Hopkins ED Calculated Chances?

I’m going to be applying ED to Johns Hopkins. My essays are really cool and one of my teacher recommendations is coming from my physics teacher who has a PhD in Astrophysics and used to work for NASA. He has published research on dark energy in very well respected science journals.

I am the drum major and president of my school’s band program which is one of the top bands in the state that always places well in marching competitions and continually wins state concert band competitions. I spend at the very least 3 hours each day after school doing work for this very program. This is much more than the average student. I have also preformed at Carnegie Hall with this group.

I have only taken up to Spanish 3 (Stopping after my sophomore year) but this is due to the fact that my family is very German and my school does not offer that language. I plan on taking German in college so that I can communicate with all of my family members without the need of a translator. I have indicated this on my application.

My GPA is a 3.61 unweighted and a 5.08 weighted. I have a 34 ACT with a 35 on English, 32 on math, 33 on science, and 34 on reading. I have 9 AP classes on my repertoire

I also participate in every single music group my school has to offer (Instrumental- playing flute) and I have been first chair in all of them since sophomore year. This is a difficult task to accomplish for a flute player. I will be sending Hopkins a recording of my playing for their consideration.

I’m confused. 3.61 unweighted and 5.08 weighted? Please elaborate. If the 3.61 is true, then that is very low for Hopkins.
