Johns Hopkins University Early Decision Forum 2015

Set up my account today! Surprisingly anticlimatic

The account is set!

Does anyone want to start posting stats? (i know it’s a waste of time but i need something to procrastinate with)

their ED acceptance rate is 33%. RD acceptance rate is 15%

i think the acceptance rate lat year was around 12%

I think it’s ranked 16 in the world and tied for 10 in the US

Average ACT of 32-34

RD acceptance rate was 12% and ED acceptance rate was 28% last year

I put my intended first major as computer science and my intended second major as interdisciplinary studies. Is it possible for them to put me in Krieger School of Arts and Sciences instead of Whiting School of Engineering then?

I mean as long as you get in you can go to switch between the schools with any major except BME

Oh I didn’t know that lol. But that’s good to know !

@joey374 how did you know the ED acceptance rate and the RD?

Tbh, though I am very nervous/anxious, I feel like i did my best so whatever the outcome I think I’ll be okay (my way of coping haha)

@Krishna98 I googled it and it came up

For more information, google JHU’s common data set.

Oh lol, I meant application stats/ECs etc. The 33% ED acceptance rate sounds promising but I don’t really think it means that their admissions criteria is more forgiving for the ED pool. I wish it was though.

This suspense is killing me, lol :-&

@joey374 Oh I thought that was this year’s ED acceptance rate, not previous year’s. Woops. Honestly, I really just want to know right now, but it’s coming in a week.

@Krishna98 I think that’s released after the decisions are

My interviewer said she submitted my evaluation
So much for them being informative.
