Joint Concentration and Double Major

Do Investment Bankers care about the difference? Can you mask a joint as a double?

Yes, there is a difference. Most people are aware double is harder and involves more classes than joint, but not many will call you out on it (although if they do then it could get awkward).

No one will really care, since double majoring isn’t that big of a deal - the order of importance for IB is School, GPA, then coursework/major (not including networking here) - if you’ve got some relevant coursework and know your stuff, you’re in good shape.

If you come from a non-target school, then GPA and coursework/major will play a bigger role - however, GPA is still most important and for non-targets especially, relevant coursework is more important than a joint degree vs a double major.
