<p>A JD/MBA can be a fantastic degree to obtain, depending upon what your goals are and what your finances look like.</p>
<p>I think that the JD/MBA route gets you a small bonus (I think similar to being a clerk mabey 25K) when you join. The finance and business knowledge might help you understand the business parts of deal a little bit more. </p>
<p>If you want to do Ibanking I think you have a better chance with a JD/MBA especially from a top school than just the JD.</p>
<p>I like the idea of being so important to a corporation (hopefully my own sometime in the future.) that I am being called at mid-night to go to a meeting. I imagine that if you are interested in the field, then whatever it concerns must be something exciting or important.</p>
