I'm currently an undergraduate majoring in journalism and political science at a top public university. I only have a 3.3 gpa, but a lot of experience in the field. I have been a freelance writer for that last 3 years, for newspapers and magazines, most recently with AOL.com I had an extensive internship this summer where I ran the communications department of a small non-profit org. I should have very good letters of recommendations.

I'm wondering what my chances are to get in to one of the best journalism graduate programs and if my low gpa will hurt me a lot.
