how about colleges when do they get them ? I have orientation on the 11 of july

I’m pretty sure colleges receive the grades before you do, so your college will know your grade by july 11.

My orientation is on June 24, so this is a problem. I’m going to try and call on the 23rd, but I don’t think I will get through. But I am definitely calling, I am too anxious this year.

brahms91, My orientation is on the 24th also LOL.

I’m just going to register for my base classes then change my schedule online once my scores come in.

Ugh, curiousity :(

just to make sure,

for graduating seniors, if u filled out that section on the back of ur answer sheet with ur college and stuff, does that mean collegeboard sends all cumulative AP scores, from both this yr and last yr? or would i need to go to collegeboard and tell them to send my scores from last yr manually?

^^the college you list on the reg form receives all scores, including those from prior years.

so debit cards defn don’t work?

As long as it is a “American Express, Discover, MasterCard, or Visa” I don’t see why it wouldn’t.

thanks bluebayou, so at least i don’t have to worry bout my college not getting them lol

This is what you do, CB sends scores electronically to colleges, so July 1st your college should have the scores. Call up your college and ask them if they received the AP scores and which ones they received. That way you get your scores early without having to pay. Some schools even will post the scores online for registration.

I’ll call even though I already had orientation. They told us to guesstimate our AP scores and schedule accordingly. For example, a 3 on English gets me out of 101, but I need a 5 to get out of 102. I was feeling good about a 3 but unsure about a 5, so I put myself in 102. I’m going to a state university though, so I want to be able to get classes that I want ASAP if some of my scores end up surpassing my expectations.

I want to know…cause I don’t think i did so hot on a couple. I bet a teacher i didn’t get a 5 20 bucks. I want my money!!
I didnt study at all for any of my exams.

do they come out at 5:00 am like the sats do?
sorry, i’ve just been really stressing out about them…:/

yellow
they come in the mail
you can’t access them online

anyone remember if they ask for the security code as well as the card number, or is it just the card number?

If you’ve taken more than one AP exam this year, do they charge you $8 total or $8 per test ($8 X # of tests taken)?

^ Oh and I remember them asking for the credit card’s expiration date last year - not sure about security code though.

8 dollars total.

Does College Board tell you the scores only, or does it give you the copy of your FRQ’s added to your score reports?

^I believe it only tells you the scores. I may be mistaken, however. I will also be calling, as I will be a summer program for six weeks, and I don’t really care to wait that long or to find out from other people.

Ugh now I feel anxious…I’d rather keep believing I got fantastic scores than see whatever I did get.

^Lol, I know what you mean. But everyone does terribly at my school on AP exams (3 people of ~30 passed our AP World exam last year), so the worst I’ll do will still be better than everyone at my school…at least I have the small silver lining : )
