My earlier post for angles:

For the three line intersection:

3 intersecting lines produces 6 angles, 3 pairs of vertical angles.

Vertical angles are CONGRUENT.

THE SUM OF ALL THE DEGREES IS 360.

Which means: 2x+2y+2z=360

If you have one right angle, there must be another.

If you have two 90 angles:

180+2y+2z=360

2y + 2z= 180

Whichs means that the sum of the remaining two angles have to be 180. For obtuse angles, less than 180.

However since every angle comes in pairs, it’s impossible to even have over 2 right angles in 3 intersecting lines.

Did it say that they intersected in one point?

Yes, they all intersected at the same point.

What was the answer to the midpoint question

If they didn’t interest at same point, then it would be 4, but never 3. The angles will always be in pairs

The midpoint question was 5 I believe.

The answer to the sphere and cylinder one is 2/3. I remember the question perfectly, and that is the correct answer. He is the question.
A sphere with radius r is inscribed inside a right circular cylinder. The height of the cylinder is equal to the diameter of the sphere. What fraction is the sphere’s volume to the volume of the cylinder?

alright the only question i’m really freaking out about is the one with x/y = y i think (or something similiar) and it asked for X. I put 16 i think but several people said that it’s 25. i just wanted the confirm… what did YOU guys put? thanks.

@K0ll3g3,
I do not think 16 would be a correct answer. THe problem said that y was a odd integer and it asked for the value of x. x=16, would mean that y=4, which was not an odd integer. I dunno. Really try to remember if yours said something about y being an odd integer. Cause I know mine did.

The Z=x+10 question was 10, not zero.

@mjloesch I am pretty sure it was 0. It said z was 10 more than x, and asked how much greater z-10 would be.

z= x + 10
z -10 = x + 10 -10 = X

@k0ll3g3
The answers were either 25 or 49. It asked for an odd integer from 4 to 8. Sorry "/

where does a 1 wrong on Fill in and 1 wrong in multiple choice and 4 omit put me on the math? any chance of ( me > 700 ) ?

20 stacked cups was 48. [Yes I got this right!!!<3]

The last gridin question with the digits of n was 122 [This was the last question I did not get to finish. I kept adding it up and proctor called time.]

The one with the circle with two diameters was I. only [Got this wrong :(]

The last one on the 20 minute section with the triangles was 17 [YES!!!]

The one before it with the a + b/2 = square root of ab was options II. and III. I believe, a = 0 and a>0 [I skipped this one, thankfully. I didn’t get it]

The one with f g h and it asked you for a value of g(5) you could’ve put any integer between 25 and 28 or 29 I believe [I skipped this one. I didn’t get it.]

The one with the volume of the sphere inside a cylinder was 2/3 [YES!!!]

The one with the vitamin c was 320 [YES!!]

The one where you have an equation and it asks you for r of (r,s) when the graph intersects the y axis (answer is 0 because it’s the x coordinate when it intersects the y axis) [Skipped I think]

How many quadratic functions with same x intercepts: more than 3 [skipped]

Which age could not be possible: 65 [I did not see this problem.]

Median number of puppies: 2 [Did not have this problem]

Chef question with salads: 80 [didn’t have this problem]

what is y in terms of x: 3x [YES!!!]

the one with the symbol and 360/1//2 = 720 [YES!!!]

I’m a really strong math student but I thought the math this time was kind of hard! Anybody else?

The one about the girl catching the train and how many minutes before the train leaves…I got 25…

:(

I assumed the question was asking how many minutes BEFORE the train leaves so I did not count the 1 minute. If I did I would’ve gotten it correct :[[[[[[[

@friedfishchen it said how much greater is z-10 than x which would be the same thing as z=x+10 right?

@friedfishchen never mind I see it now… Damn I hope I didn’t miss a lot like that.
