June 2008 SAT II Scores Thread

So, after weeks of anticipation (for me, at least) and much discussion and contemplation of our scores, they await us less than 48 hours away.

The wait begins...

Post your scores here :)

Just a question, if I went standby, do I get scores at the same time as everyone else still?

AFAIK, if you're a standby you have to wait until the scores are mailed home.

What is "standby?"

Can't wait to find out 2/3 of my scores - Math II and US History went really well for me, and looking at what the average curve is, I really think I have a shot at doing quite well, which would be nice.

SPANISH, on the other hand...I got 97th percentile on the National Spanish Exam, have studied abroad, and have never gotten lower than an A in Spanish class, and I'll seriously be happy with a 600. That test made me want to DIE.

asdfjk;lkjfdsa thanks for reminding me >.<

11 hours and 45 minutes (probably/hopefully). I think I'm going to go to bed early tonight...it tends to make the wait feel shorter...

So excited!

They come out at 8:30 AM Eastern time?

nah 5 am eastern

DON'T stay up unless you are willing to stay up til 5 am.
I waited last June until 3:30 am? and was just a monster the next day

well luckily for west cost students,
the earliest ive been able to get my score was at about 3:15 AM

ok, here's a question: if I got every question right on the math SAT, but skipped 7 questions, what's the BEST score I could get? Thanks in advance!

Math II - 800
Math I - 740

James, which prep book did you use for math II
I am using the princeton review.
and why did you take 1 and 2?

I think he was answering SJTH's question, not posting his scores.

Thanks, James! That's better than I thought--now keeping fingers crossed.

i just remembered how poorly i know i'm going to do on the literature subject test. however, i'm anxious to see my math II and USH scores.

quick question.. if i submit my ACT w/ writing to UPenn and my SAT I + IIs and my ACT is better will they waive all my SAT scores and just consider my ACT score??

As Aeneas said, I was answering SJTH's question about the math curve. If you were wondering, I used SAT Math for Dummies and sparknotes.com to prep. For practice tests, I took 2 Dummies tests, 4 sparknotes tests, and 1 CB test.

Ahh, only a couple hours left! I'm gonna go sleep for tonight and I'll hopefully be back tomorrow. Good luck to everyone!

SO IT COMES OUT AT 5AM??
im not scared i just hope i get 700 or highter :</p>
