June 2010: International

We can’t tell you that if you haven’t taken the test yet.

It is still 4:30AM in some areas of the US so I don’t think we can talk about the test for at least another 9 hours. I think there were two different tests administered this time (a small amount because most people are doing subject tests?) - one for Asia etc. and another for US.

I got 3 writing sections too. No idea which one was experimental. Didn’t really like section 10 though this time, which is a first, because usually that is the one section that is a breeze for me.

I feel so relieved that it’s over now!

Math had some odd questions.

What did you guys think about Critical Reading? I thought it was pretty easy, or am I just delusional?

I sincerely and honestly hope you aren’t dilusional, lol.

I hope the essay is easy :/

I actually found it OK. It would have been easy if it weren’t for some of the vocab questions but I do not care about CR - I got the score I wanted in the May SAT (super-score ftw! :D). Math was pretty darn easy - 800 for sure. Writing, if section 3 is the experimental, will be 770+. If section 6 is the experimental then it may be just 720+ or something because I get this darn feeling that I got 2 wrong in section 3. I know I got 1 wrong at most in section 6 and none in section 10 - the errors were blazingly obvious in section 6 and 10.

CR wasn’t that easy. Well, there was 1 section that wasn’t, at any rate. I felt better about myself when I did practice test 2 in the BB. Hopefully the curve isn’t too harsh because I think I have like 4-5 wrong with 1 omit. Need a 700+.
Writing was more difficult than May and there a couple that were really tricky. Hopefully I’ll get an 11-12 on the essay with 1/2 wrong and an 800.
Math 800. Hoping that I have no stupid mistakes :(

Math was good! :)… I seriously hope too that I haven’t made any silly errors! :frowning:
I don’t think we need to worry about the American students… I think they would have a different paper!

But based on their paper we can determine what the experimental is. From what I recall, from the May SAT, they did the same paper practically. The only difference was their experimental and their essay question.

May experimental was section 3 - also writing. However, the order was different. I remember 2 CR sections between sections 7 and 10, and only one math - it was the other way around this time. Plus section 2 was CR not math as it was (for me) last time.

I have a question. I decided to erase one of my CR answers last minute because it was wrong, and used the back of the number 2 pencil because I was rushed. It left a bit of a smudge where the answer was supposed to be. What do you think will happen in this case? I’ll kill them if my scores get delayed again - and I don’t want them to consider it as an answer.

Don’t worry. I think I changed about 3-4 questions with the back of the pencil. It shouldn’t make a difference.

when we would be able to consolidate lists

Yeah but mine made a bit of a smudge - it definitely darkened the page and there were noticeable non-white spaces around it. I hope to God nothing happens.

Also - can I say this on the essay? “The adage that ‘[adage present here]’ has become so ubiquitous that it may be better described as an axiom - an undoubted truth” or something like that? I didn’t but the adage because it would tell about the subject. I think I used ubiquitous incorrectly - seemed fine while I was doing the test. Think they’d knock any points off for that? I want a 10+ on the essay.

guys when we would be able to discuss answers

I definitely ruined my first test. Really wait the embargo to be lifted

I did SAT for the first time today. I think maths was easy, hopefully it will be 800 if there are no careless mistakes. Critical reading was quite hard for me with English as second language, especially sentence completion, but I should get about 650. All sections of writing were ok, as well as the essay. I hope for 2000+
And I also erased a lot in some sections, it was hard to remove the gray completely. It shouldn’t mess up my score though.

Just so you know… International test takers will NOT have the same test as the US, so you all should start your own thread when the embargo is lifted so that the 2 tests ( US vs. international) don’t get mixed up…

why is everyone thinking that writing is so easy?!
I have at least 3 questions unsure in sec 10
and sec 6 for me is kinda weird also o.o

Are you serious? It was the same test back in May… everyone seemed to have the same sections/questions.

i also just finished the june sat subject tests. i think that i may have accidentally used a 2-5/8 medium pencil and i was wondering what is going to happen with my test?

For the May SAT, US and international test takers had the same sections but different essay questions.
